Interview with Girliegirl, Paul and Tyler
JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Girliegirl: 3
Paul: 3
Tyler: Three meals a day. Breakfast each day at 5am,
Lunch at noon, dinner at 5pm.
JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Girliegirl: -9734739047

Tyler: BAD!
JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Girliegirl: All were least favorite meals. Cold when
supposed to be hot and hot when supposed to be
cold. Hard stale bread and disgusting water.
Paul: hated it all!!!
Tyler: NO, all the food is pretty bad. Breakfast was O.K.
just Corn Flakes, sugar, carton of milk, two
slices of bread, butter, two cookies.
JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Girliegirl: you had to buy them. Cup of noodles, cookies,
candy.
Paul: yes
Tyler: Only via the commissary. You can order commissary
as long as you have cash on your account. Any cash
you have when you go to jail is in your account
(minus a $12 booking charge). People can add money
to your account from the outside. Commissary
orders are placed at 8am on Friday morning and
orders are delivered on Monday around 10am. You
can order personal items such as underwear, socks,
shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. You can also
order snacks such as candy bars, chips, cookies,
crackers, peanut butter, jelly, tuna, cheese,
tortillas, etc.

Can I put money on the commissary account online, or does it have to be brought in or money order?

The food at ocJ is complete garbage, food I would not even give to my dog. Most of it is the ssame each day, smashed beans or rice, 30X watered down kool-aid or ice tea-Nothing is really fit to eat-There is absolutely NO seasoning on anything! Last time I was there for 6 days, and lost 17lbs-Garbage-

how do i order hot food snacks (like fries) for my son? He says I can do it online -can't figure out how!

choose the fresh fare option you will need to set up an account. and pay with a credit card online also. they only can get the hot meal 1 time a week and the day they get it is sat. i think you have to order by early friday morning for him to get it for this week. hope this helps you :) |

You have to send a cashier's/money order with the name of th inmate to the Jail. Each inmate has an account which they can use on food, you can't send food directly to an inmate.
